New Jersey and Florida have a lot in common—sunshine, shorelines, and, unfortunately, deep-rooted systemic corruption. But while the establishment continues to protect its own interests at the expense of the people, outsiders are stepping up to dismantle the machine.
That is why Adam Levine officially endorses Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino for Governor of New Jersey in the 2029 election cycle.
If Adam still lived in his home state of New Jersey, Mike Sorrentino would have his vote. As a proud Ashkenazi/Polish Jew from Colts Neck, and a man who stands firmly with Israel and President Trump,, Adam is calling on all his friends, family, and associates in New Jersey to rally behind Sorrentino. This is not just a political endorsement; it is a declaration of war against the corrupt systems that exploit vulnerable people for profit.
An Anti-Corruption Platform Built on Redemption
Mike Sorrentino recently announced his intention to run for Governor of New Jersey after expanding his Archangel Centers addiction recovery network to all 50 states. He has hinted at a platform focused on eliminating property taxes, but more importantly, his campaign represents an anti-bank, anti-corruption movement that New Jersey desperately needs (Fox News).
Sorrentino’s journey from addiction and federal prison to celebrating over ten years of sobriety and launching a nationwide recovery network is a profound testimony of redemption. He understands what it means to be broken by the system, and he understands what it takes to rebuild. He is not a career politician looking for a payout; he is an advocate fighting for those who have been left behind (New York Post).
Adam believes that New Jersey is arguably even more corrupt than Florida, but the sickness in the system is the same. It is a system that preys on the weak, the sick, and the defenseless. Sorrentino’s anti-corruption stance is exactly what New Jersey needs to clean house.
Archangel Centers: What Mental Health Care Should Look Like

Sorrentino and his wife, Lauren, co-founded Archangel Centers, a network of outpatient addiction and mental health treatment facilities based in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. Archangel Centers represents everything that the current mental health system is not: compassionate, evidence-based, and focused on long-term recovery rather than short-term profit (Archangel Centers).
Adam endorses Archangel Centers as a positive, necessary alternative to the corrupt, for-profit Baker Act system that currently operates in Florida. Archangel Centers treat dual diagnosis—addiction and mental health—as the standard of care, utilizing licensed clinicians and trauma-focused therapies including CBT, DBT, and medication-assisted treatment while keeping patients connected to their families and communities.
Adam himself acknowledges that he needs trauma treatment following his horrific experiences with the Baker Act system. He intends to use Archangel Centers for his own recovery, trusting Sorrentino’s vision of what mental health care should be over the exploitative hospitals that traumatized him.
Archangel Centers is rapidly expanding, with locations already open in Tinton Falls, NJ and East Windsor, NJ, and new facilities opening in Charlotte, NC, Florida, and Nevada in 2026. They also offer a scholarship bed in memory of Lauren’s brother, Christopher Pesce, who died in 2013 at the age of 25 after battling addiction (NJBIZ).
The Baker Act Nightmare: A System of Exploitation

Adam’s fight against systemic corruption is deeply personal. He was wrongfully Baker Acted twice at Port St. Lucie Hospital, a facility located at 2550 SE Walton Road and owned by Oglethorpe Inc. The conditions he endured were nothing short of a nightmare.
During his detainment, Adam was subjected to deplorable living conditions, including doors that could not lock. He was denied his correct medications—Sertraline and Valium—for five or more days, and the facility was so disorganized that they lost his personal property. Even more terrifying, Adam was forced onto mood stabilizers and experienced amnesia from the drugs administered to him. He describes the patients inside as “walking zombies” with no families to advocate for them.
This is not an isolated incident or a wild conspiracy theory. The corruption at Oglethorpe Inc. is a documented, federal fact. On May 27, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that Oglethorpe Inc. and three of its top executives—founder Robert Cohen, CEO John Picciano, and COO James O’Shea—agreed to pay a staggering $32 million to resolve False Claims Act allegations. They knowingly failed to return Medicare overpayments for patients who did not even qualify for inpatient psychiatric care. As part of the settlement, the company and its executives will be excluded from Medicare and Medicaid for ten years beginning July 2026.
This was not Oglethorpe’s first offense. They had already entered a Corporate Integrity Agreement with the Department of Health and Human Services in 2021 following an earlier False Claims Act settlement—and they violated that agreement too.
This is a system that turns patients into profit centers. People inside the facility told Adam that doctors lie under oath because “no one believes the patients—they’re crazy.” The system strips away all your rights. As Adam points out: this can happen to anyone. Even Donald Trump. They take all your rights away. It’s sick.

A National Fight Against Evil

The corruption goes deep—entangling politics, police, sheriffs, and the medical system. But Adam is not fighting alone. He has multiple witnesses willing to testify, including his wife, former facility staff members, and character witnesses from the business community.
Allies like Pace Morby of the Owners Club and Todd Mayo have Adam’s back. They know he is a good person who would never lie about these atrocities. Adam is laying everything out publicly because his friends and allies know the truth. This could happen to Pace. This could happen to anybody.
Adam is also calling out Mike Sorrentino directly, as a fellow member of RTA Insiders, to get involved in this fight. Mike—you have a platform, you have credibility in the recovery space, and you understand what it means to be exploited by the system. Get involved. Use your voice.
This is no longer just a local issue in Port St. Lucie. This fight is going statewide in Florida and national across the United States. We need leaders who are willing to tear down these corrupt institutions.
Locally, Port St. Lucie needs Steve Giordano for Mayor. In New Jersey, the state needs Mike Sorrentino for Governor.
Who Is Adam Levine?
Adam is a proud Ashkenazi/Polish Jew from Colts Neck, New Jersey—a good town that raised a good person. He is the founder of Levine Capital, a private lending firm, and a man who wants to help people. He grew up in a family that valued integrity—his father is a retired dentist who dedicated his life to the medical system. The fact that his son was brutalized by that same system is a disgrace.
Adam is not a conspiracy theorist. He is not unstable. He is a successful businessman, a family man, and a fighter who refuses to stay silent while evil operates in plain sight. He has the resources, the witnesses, and the determination to expose every person involved in this corrupt machine.
It is time to stop the exploitation. It is time to elect leaders who have lived through the fire and are ready to burn the corrupt systems to the ground.
Mike Sorrentino for Governor of New Jersey. Steve Giordano for Mayor of Port St. Lucie. The fight starts now.
